About

Sense of Ease delivers a very unique, individual and holistic approach to treatment.

Angela uses practical modern physiotherapy techniques combined with ancient healing and movement practices to restore harmony and balance in the body. By restoring the body to balance we create the best environment for effective healing.

Ultimately Angela’s aim is to offer each client a Sense of Ease. What does this mean? For some, it could be as simple as wanting relief from a recent injury. For others, there could be the interplay of unhelpful thoughts and emotions which seem to accompany and add to the struggle of a longer term condition.

Either way a Sense of Ease can be achieved through tailoring of the appropriate therapies to the unique needs and preferences of each individual client.

Alongside the ‘hands on’ therapies that Angela offers, she wants to give her clients the most appropriate tools in order to help them feel  involved and empowered in their own healing journey. Hopefully inspiring clients to continue to nurture their health and wellness after the symptoms have disappeared.

Story of the Founder, Angela Morley

From a very young age, Angela was always fascinated by the workings of the human body, being heavily involved in physical activity and a number of sports. Graduating with a degree in Physiotherapy from Leeds University in 1998, she would initially practice in the NHS before going on to private practice throughout Sheffield.

With experience working at Sheffield Wednesday Football Academy, Sheffield Eagles Rugby League Football Club and more, she would eventually reduce her involvement within sport and begin working at a physiotherapy clinic in Binfield, Berkshire. The clients here were mostly suffering from longer term painful conditions.

It was at Binfield that she reached a breakthrough with holistic therapies, exploring courses in Cranio-Sacral therapy and Health Kinesiology. By introducing holistic techniques into her physiotherapy treatments she was able to make more impactful change.

For her own personal health and wellbeing she began training in Qi Gong, Tai Chi and meditation. It was through this training that she realised the benefits of integrating these eastern approaches with her western physiotherapy training to deliver a much more holistic service.

Angela’s continued desire to want to positively impact peoples lives through the work she does has recently inspired her to gain qualifications in hypnotherapy and teaching yoga.

All of this allows Angela to look at the link of body and mind which adds to the long term effectiveness of  treatment, and ultimately to a greater, longer lasting Sense of Ease.
